How did you like Eldest?
- I’m in the middle of reading it for
the fourth time. I think it is an awesome book. I’m always staying up all night
to read it, despite my parents protest. :P
After seeing the trailer, are you excited for
the movie?
- Yeah, I’m really excited. At
first I was a bit skeptical, but seeing a book I love on the big screen doesn’t
seem so bad anymore.
Are you going to buy the Eragon video game?
- Yes I will. I think playing the book
out as Eragon sounds fun. I think my dad will beat me to it though.
Which book did you like better, Eragon or
Eldest?
- I like them both the same. I like
Eragon because he travels across the Empire and saves Arya, but I like Eldest
because he goes to Ellesmera and meets all the elves.
Who do you think will ride the green dragon in
the third book?
- I think it may be a Rider that
we haven’t met yet, but if I had to choose out of the people I know, I think it
would be Elva, the one with the dragon mark.
Who is your favorite character?
- My favorite character is definitely
Saphira.
If you could be any character for a day, which
would you be?
- I would want to be either Saphira or
Angela. Saphira because flying sounds fun and Angela because she is funny.
If you could choose one magical power to have
for just one day, what would it be?
- I would choose the power to heal. It
is always fun to get hurt and then heal automatically.
Do you think Murtagh will ever come to the good side?
- I think so. Murtagh seems like a good kind of guy, even though he did take
Eragon’s sword.
If you could predict one person who will die in the third book, who would it
be?
- I think that if anyone were to die it would be Nasuada, with all those
assassins.

Paolini is my favorite author and I hope he comes to Newfoundland for a book
signing.
