How did you like Eldest?
- Loved it! The action was much better this time around (let's hope Paolini
out-does himself again in the third book!). I must add that the “Stinkin’
Barges” line was quite funny. I had to put down the book and tell my parents
about it!
After seeing the trailer, are you
excited for the movie?
- Very, although a bit worried that it will spoil my mental images and the
way the characters look to me. From the clips and trailers I’ve seen so far
though it looks great. Fox is doing a superb job.
Are you going to buy the Eragon
video game?
- Yes, actually. Although not a big “Gamer” this game looks fun and
exciting, I plan on asking “Santa” for it. But if he does not come through I’ll
get it myself!
Which book did you like better,
Eragon or Eldest?
- Eragon was an awesome introduction to a new world, Eldest was very well
written and more exciting. To have to choose between the two, no, I just
couldn’t.
Who do you think will ride the green
dragon in the third book?
- Most likely an elf, seeing as there isn’t an Elven rider at the moment.
I hope its Arya, but, it could be Roran!
Who is your favorite character?
- Saphira comes in first. Her serious wisdom and butt-kicking attitude are
awesome. She has the best personality of all. A close second is Solembum the
Werecat. He’s just so cool!
If you could be any character for a
day, which would you be?
- Saphira. Who wouldn’t want to fly and swim and use magic? She is the most
wonderful, majestic creature in Alagaesia!
If you could choose one magical
power to have for just one day, what would it be?
- Fly.
Do you think Murtagh will ever come to the good side?
- I hope he will, but I think Galbatorix will have to die before he sees the
truth of his evils.
If you could predict one person who
will die in the third book, who would it be?
- Unfortunately, Murtagh. It seems he is the pity character, the one who
will pay the price for letting his greed consume him and falling for the
temptations Galabatorix showed him. Let’s hope I’m just crazy and Galabotorix
does the sensible thing and dies. But that seems too predictable.
